Constructivist approach to the formation of constructive activity of the future designer in construction objects of visual culture

Abstract

The modern visual culture of the society requires from design specialists the formation of subjective experience of constructive activity in the design of cultural objects. A design specialist must possess the values of the modern visual culture of society and meet the standards of design education. Purpose: show the interdisciplinary methodology of the constructivist approach to the organization of two levels of the design education system for training personnel in
the field of activity of the visual culture of society. Methods: the explanatory method of moderate constructivism was carried out in solving problems of geometric generalization of objects in the image; the heuristic method of radical constructivism depended on the translation of the
geometric language of image construction into the language of artistic interpretation; experiment method. Results: The study compared the learning processes of students in different conditions and the performance of work by students. Design education allowed students to get better
scores than traditional students. The result of the experiment was the achievement of the goal the formation of the constructive activity of the future designer when using knowledge in the image of the object. Scientific novelty: consists in the transformation of the norms of design educa-
tion, the use of a constructivist approach in solving the interdisciplinary problem of the formation of cognitive and constructive activity of a design student – the influence of the discipline "Drawing" on the discipline "Design".
